Join us in celebrating Michigan products with the Made in Michigan Bracket Challenge. Click HERE to download the bracket.

Each day we'll have four matchups, one from each bracket, as we go through some of our great Made in Michigan products. If you don't know a product, you may want to search the products name in the search bar on the top of the page and check out a past Made in Michigan feature story that aired earlier.

Also, check our WZZM13 Facebook page starting March 25th for ways that you can win some Made in Michigan merchandise.

It's your chance to be in a Weatherball Commercial

Now is the time for you and your family to become part of the fun and a chance to be in a commercial for the WZZM13 Weather ball. You may have seen the recent commercial with the little boy trying to figure out things to say, to match up with the colors of the Weather ball, so you can do the same. Here is what you need to do:

Create a video on your phone
Upload it to YouTube
Tweet YouTube link with #13wxball

After we receive a number of videos, the top 3 will be chosen and made into commercials for the weather. Don’t forget to include some information about contacting you.

MI House Representative Takes A Flying Leap

It was a cold February day when MI House Representative Lisa Poshumus Lyons took a flying leap into a freezing pool for charity. It was the Legislative Polar Plunge at the Capitol Building in Lansing for Special Olympics Michigan Athletes. About 20 Michigan Legislators, plus Lt. Governor Brian Calley lined up to show their support for Special Olympics Michigan. The second annual Legislative Polar Plunge raised more than $30,000 to benefit children and adults with intellectual disabilities. This Polar Plunge was one of 28 Polar Plunges throughout Michigan from January through this month to benefit Special Olympics Michigan.

Grand Rapids Comm. College: Closed., GRCC Main & DeVos classes are closed due to power outage. Classes that begin at 10 a.m. or after will be held as scheduled. .

Grand Rapids Public Schools: Central High, UPrep, GR Montessori, School of Health Sciences and Turning Point Academy closed due to power outage. .
