GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)- One person is in custody after shots were fired that hit a car.
Grand Rapids Police were called to the 800 block of McReynolds on the city's northwest side, shortly before 5:00 am.
A woman says as she was leaving a location in that area at least one shot was fired, hitting her car as she drove away. Grand Rapids Police took one man into custody on unrelated charges.
Police surrounded the home after being told that a suspect in the incident was inside. After entering the home just before 9:00am, police found the home to be empty.
