Monarch Madness at John Ball Zoo | News
GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - John Ball Zoo celebrated Monarch Madness on Saturday releasing 300 butterflies in time for their yearly migration to Mexico.
The celebrated the migration by giving local children a chance to hand release a butterfly. Since their were more children wanting to release a butterfly than Monarch the children were selected by a drawing.
