"Schmidt's a schmuck" signs pop up | News

GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - With his controversial last-minute political party switch and botched coverup, Democrat-turned-Republican Roy Schmidt could have his work cut out for him in the August primary. Already, political signs are popping up in Schmidt's district, shaming him for the political fiasco.

Derek DeVries sent WZZM 13 this image of a political sign on Grand Rapids' west side. It reads, "Schmidt's a Schmuck."

Governor Rick Snyder is in Grand Rapids Thursday and we will ask him his thoughts on the Roy Schmidt controversy as well as the involvement by the speaker of the state house, Jase Bolger. Our Phil Dawson will have more, tonight on WZZM 13 News at 6.
