Water park

Water park

It's been such a wet spring farmers are having trouble getting their crops in, not to mention all the flooding. Just taking a walk around Richmond Park, and I noticed the playground looks more like a waterpark! Moms if you're looking for a dry place for your kids to play, Richmond Park is not it right now! Stay dry or enjoy the water park! ;)

One week left for Butterflies are Blooming at Meijer Gardens

GRAND RAPIDS TOWNSHIP, MI – There is only one week left for the popular Butterflies are Blooming exhibition at the Fredrik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park.  This is the largest temporary tropical butterfly exhibit in the nation.  Visitors can escape the Michigan winter and mingle with more than 6,000 tropical butterflies flying free in the 15,000-square-foot Lena Meijer Conservatory.

The exhibition boasts more than 40 different species from the Far East, Africa and Central America. Each week hundreds of chrysalises arrive at Meijer Gardens and are painstakingly sorted, inspected, labeled and pinned in our sealed Butterfly Bungalow.
