GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.—Grand Rapids police detectives are releasing surveillance images of two men wanted for a series of convenience store robberies.

The crimes happened between April 13 and June 22 and typically involved one or both suspects entering the store, producing a handgun then robbing the store clerk of money and Newport cigarettes.  In several of the crimes, store customers were also robbed.

The targeted businesses include Our Food Mart at 423 Webster Street NW; Knapp Street Party Store at 701 Knapp Street NE; Miti Mini at 1210 Giddings Ave. SE; Sam’s Party Store at 1034 Bridge Street NW; Supermercado at 957 Davis Street NW; the Speedway Gas Station at 1533 Leonard Street NE; Oliver’s Market at 1548 Kalamazoo Avenue SE; Guddis Corner at 1220 College Avenue NE; Ron’s Quick Stop at 1115 Bridge Street NW and Little Caesars Pizza at 1245 Leonard Street NW.

The suspects were 5’8” and 5’10” in height with a thin build.  In most of the crimes, they wore hooded sweatshirts, bandannas or partial ski masks.  During one of the crimes, one suspect wore a navy and white shirt with “Nuggets” printed on the back shoulder.  Anyone with information in these cases is asked to call police at (616) 456-3604 or Silent Observer at (616) 774-2345.
