Very cool program that will happen at GVSU’s downtown Pew Campus.
The Teen Entrepreneur Summer Academy (TESA) is a program focused on growing awareness of small business and entrepreneurship opportunities in West Michigan. Students become aware of the wealth of resources available in West Michigan to assist young entrepreneurs in future business endeavors. The activities and curriculum are tied to the Career Pathways Program and National Entrepreneurship Education Standards.
The Academy is $50 with scholarship opportunities available. Choose one of the three session locations: Grand Rapids GVSU Pew Campus (map), Holland GVSU Meijer Campus (map) or Muskegon Campus (map). The Teen Academy is designed for high school students entering grades 9 to college freshmen in the Fall 2011 semester. Students are selected based on areas of interest, GPA, and recommendation of teachers, counselors and principal.
